Analog switch

An analog switch is a module that lets a signal pass or blocks it, or chooses between two or more signals, controlled by a gate or a button. It passes audio or CV unchanged when open.

Analog switches are used to mute and unmute parts of a patch, alternate between two sources, or switch modulation in time with a rhythm. They differ from a VCA, which scales a signal smoothly.
