Chorus is an effect that blends a signal with one or more copies that are delayed by a small, constantly changing amount. The changing delay detunes the copies slightly, which thickens the sound and adds width.
Chorus uses a longer delay than a flanger and usually no feedback, so it sounds like several players instead of a sweeping filter.
