Filter

A filter is a module that lets certain frequencies pass through while reducing others. It shapes the frequency content of a signal, either giving it a specific tonal character or removing unwanted noise and harmonics. Common types include low pass, high pass, band pass, notch, and shelving filters, each of which targets a different part of the frequency spectrum.
