Sequential switch

A sequential switch is a module that steps through several inputs or outputs each time it receives a trigger. A one to many switch sends one signal to a different output on each step, and a many to one switch picks a different input each step.

Sequential switches are used to rotate between modulation sources, route triggers to different drum voices, or build patterns that change on every pass. They are also called multiplexers and demultiplexers.
