Glide, also called portamento, is a smooth slide between notes instead of an instant jump. In a modular, you make it by running pitch CV through a slew limiter before it reaches the oscillators.
The rise and fall times set how long the slide takes. A short glide gives a legato feel, and a long one gives a wide, sweeping slide.
