Eurorack signal levels follow common practice instead of a strict standard. Typical values are:
- Audio: about 10 V peak to peak, or ±5 V.
- CV: often 0 V to +10 V or ±5 V.
- Gates and triggers: usually 0 V to +5 V, though some modules output higher levels.
Inputs that read gates usually treat anything above a few volts as high. Check a module’s manual when a patch does not respond as expected.
