Cross-modulation

Cross-modulation is when two or more modules modulate each other. For example, oscillator A modulates the frequency of oscillator B while B modulates A.

The result is complex and often unpredictable, ranging from rich evolving tones to chaos. Many chaotic and generative patches rely on cross-modulation.
