Panel depth

Panel depth is how far a module extends behind its front panel, usually listed in millimeters. It matters because cases have a limited usable depth once the busboard and ribbon cables are accounted for.

Modules with a shallow depth are called skiff friendly. Always compare a module’s depth to your case before buying.
