Swing

Swing is a timing effect that delays every second note in a rhythm, usually the off-beat steps, so the pattern feels looser and bouncier than a strict grid. Amounts are often set as a percentage, with 50 percent meaning no swing.

In a modular, swing is added by a clock module or a dedicated module that delays alternate clock pulses.
