Power rails

Power rails are the supply voltage lines that run through a modular system. Eurorack provides +12 V, -12 V, and ground, and many cases add a +5 V rail.

Each rail has its own current limit in milliamps, so you need to check a module’s draw on each rail instead of only the total. Not to be confused with the metal rails that modules are screwed onto.
