Triangle wave

A triangle wave rises and falls at a steady rate in straight lines, forming a triangle shape. It has only odd harmonics, and they fall off quickly, so it sounds soft and hollow, close to a sine wave but a bit brighter.

Triangle waves are used for gentle leads and basses, and as a common LFO shape that gives a smooth rise and fall.
