This quiz is designed to guide your synth purchases, offering helpful insights without being a one-size-fits-all solution. While it asks some important questions, it’s all in good fun, helping you think about your decisions without getting too serious.
The thrill of new gear can easily cloud your judgment, leading to buyer’s remorse. A bit of self-awareness can help ensure your next investment is a smart one. Don’t get caught in a cycle of endless research, learning and configuration at the expense of making music. Whether you decide to hold off or take the plunge, try to do it with a bit of intention and creativity.
We’d love to hear your thoughts! Have you ever regretted a gear purchase, or do you have a tried-and-true method for keeping GAS in check? Share your experiences in the comments below, and let’s start a conversation about making smarter gear decisions.
lol this is awesome
Love this. In my case, I’m looking at a new interface to replace the one I had to leave on a ship last year. Waiting for that 4th gen Focusrite 18i20 release.
I definitely think this works for almost any gear, but to me it sounds very much like the interface is a need thing.
