Notch filter

A notch filter or band-reject filter attenuates frequencies within a specific range, centered around a center frequency, while allowing frequencies outside this range to pass through. This is used to remove specific frequencies or to create a “notched” effect. It is the opposite, inverted version of a band-pass filter.
