Reverb

Reverb, short for reverberation, is the effect of a sound continuing to be heard as it reflects off surfaces in a space after the original sound has stopped. It creates a sense of space and depth. Reverb effects simulate the acoustics of different environments, from small rooms to large halls, and add richness and ambience to a sound. Reverb can be produced with digital algorithms, analog circuits, or physical devices like spring and plate reverbs.
