Logic gates combine or change gate signals according to Boolean rules.
- AND: outputs high only when both inputs are high.
- OR: outputs high when either input is high.
- XOR: outputs high when exactly one input is high.
- NOT: inverts a signal, so high becomes low.
Running different clock divisions through these gates creates complex rhythms from a single clock. These logic gates are not the same thing as the musical gate signal.
